Hello,

After the IT changed my profile (Win7) in order to fix one problem related to ArcGIS, I could not launch the Collect anymore. When I tried to launch Collect, I could not find the shortcut (openforisCollect-launcher?) in Windows start menu, but the “Update Open Foris Collect” was there. I run this update option, thinking the update should bring back the shortcut for OpenForis Launcher. Then I opened the install folder (C:\opt\openforis\collect) to double click “OpenForisCollect-launcher.exe”, nothing happened. The control panel did not appear.

Not sure what the problem is.

Dear Jinkai,
Collect stores the data under your user folder (e.g. C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\OpenForis\Collect\data). There is a bug in the current version of Collect (3.13.x) that prevents Collect from the starting up if that folder is missing (this bug has been already solved and will be included in the version 3.13.8 of Collect).
Please try to create the folder by yourself and copy the data from your "old" user if you want to preserve the already inserted surveys and data.
Many thanks,
Open Foris Team
