Hi,
If after an update you noticed that Collect doesn't startup or simply you realize that you don't like the latest version and you want to come back to the previous one, you can do it by following these steps (WARNING: these operations will delete the data collected using the latest version):
- shutdown Collect using the Control Panel;
- navigate to the folder C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\OpenForis\Collect\backup;
- you will notice that this folder contains different subfolders, everyone corresponds to the date when you did the update;
- enter the latest modified folder (latest update) - select the file collect.war - open a new Explore window (Windows button + E) - navigate to the folder C:\OpenForis\Collect\webapps - delete the folder collect and the file collect.war
- paste the collect.war copied file - go again to the latest backup folder (e.g. C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\OpenForis\Collect\backup\20171020) and copy the file collect.db
- navigate to the folder C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\OpenForis\Collect\data - paste the copied collect.db file and overwrite the existing one
- startup Collect again

Now you should be able to work with Collect as it was before the update.
Many thanks,
Open Foris Team
