Hello,

I want to use Collect Earth to calibrate and validate classification of savanna. We have a team of interpreters that will process the data points. To streamline this process I want to create a customised data entry form that opens from Google Earth which includes the classes that we are using (instead of the provided IPCC classes) and bespoke questions about the sample point. However I am struggling to find where/how to do this.

In the Collect Earth User manual it mentions "For guidance on creating new customizations of the Collect Earth data entry form, visit the Collect Earth GitHub page." But I couldn't find the information I needed on Github.

Similarly the questions regarding customisation on the forum seem to relate to creating grids for a specific area of interest, but this isn't what I am looking for.

Any recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated.

The best way to start is to look into the videos that explain how to create surveys, they are a bit long but explain quite well the process.

It is important to mention that in order to create the surveys you will need to download and install Open Foris Collect (the software that contains the Survey Designer as well as other features to manage data collected)

Here is more info on the Survey Designer
