Hi all

The sampling unit in my survey is "plot". When I add a multiple entity (form layout) I get the following error message:
- Layout not supported: check the layout of other multiple entities within the same tab.

When I click on a existing multiple entity with form layout the following message appears:
- layoutType: Layout not supported: check the layout of other multiple entities within the same tab

So, how can I add a multiple entity with form layout?

My second issue is: Three deadwood transects are to be measured on each plot. On each transect there may be several pieces of deadwood.

How to organise that in Collect?

Recently I had the same problem. See my post. But I don't really unserstand the funcion of "tab".

Many thanks!

Dear Sabrina,

please take a look the two Collect templates provided at http://www.openforis.org/materials.html where there are form layouts as well as table types applied for entities.

Template 1 contains several tabs and entities, and you can get ideas how to build a good survey. If you plan to do a new survey from scratch, always add a tab before a new entity! If you do not add it, you may get a very messy user-interface for your survey.

The best practice is to take a template, modify and test it.

Hope this helps, Lauri
