width of taxon field and automomplete of vernacular name

Hi experts,

1) I try to enlarge the taxon field in collect (some scientific names are too long for the field and preview). Changing the field width or label width has no influence. Is there another solution to adjust the field?

2) Autocomplete of species works fine, but the field vernacular name is not filled if the scientific name or code are choosen. And there is no preview for this field.

Hi Lutz,
regarding point 1, we will try to make it work... instead regarding point 2, do you mean that the vernacular name field is not filled when you have a single occurrence of vernacular name per a specific species name? Nowadays this is how it works: the vernacular name is filled only when you look for a species by the vernacular name itself.
We will think about showing the vernacular name in such a case and probably you will be able to find the new behavior in the next release of Collect (3.9.13).
