Hello Masters of Collect and Calc! The time zone "UTC+10 Guam, Port Moresby" is used in Papua New Guinea, naturally. I used this local zone in my computer, started Collect and submitted records to data analysis phase, imported XML backup and tried to get data into Calc. Calc got stuck in the very first seconds of data import.

I have met some problems earlier with "Harare,Pretoria" time zone, so I knew this could be something related to the selection time zone.. Then I changed time zone to "(UTC+02:00) Helsinki, Kiev,.." and restarted Collect and Calc, and exported XML data egain out from Collect. Same error in Calc data entry. OK, in Collect I demoted analysis records back to Cleansing, and submitted all to Analysis again. And exported XML backup, and imported it to Calc. And this worked!

So, is there somewhere a list of recommended and tested time zone settings, or should we ask Collect users in PNG to use time zone of Helsinki, or Rome? Cheers, Lauri

Hi Lauri,
Please don't ask the users to change their time zone settings. Maybe there is some bug in Collect/Calc that's blocking the data import process. Please share contact us in private and we can solve this issue together.
Thanks,
