For a survey we have to install collect mobile App on 15 tablets and I would like to avoid connecting each tablet to the internet and the Google Store to download the App. Is the collect mobile .apk file for installation on android available?

An alternative location is here. The above link includes test releases never released to the Play Store. This link only contain the versions released on Play Store.

Thanks for the link!! I would also prefer using the play store for installing the App, but I am not sure if we will have internet to connect all tablets to the store. And it is much easier to just copy the required App and data to each device.

You get exactly the same software whether you use Play Store or the latest version in the link above. You just pick whichever is more convenient for you.

You can find all of the versions of Collect Mobile in our repository:

http://openforis.org/nexus/content/repositories/releases/org/openforis/collect/android/collect-mobile/

Right now the latest one is :

http://openforis.org/nexus/content/repositories/releases/org/openforis/collect/android/collect-mobile/85/collect-mobile-85.apk

It is better however to install from Google Play as Collect Mobile will be updated automatically.
